Contract Video Producer/Editor

Brickworks Communications Inc. is a Burlington, Ontario based integrated marketing / communications agency focused on building consumer demand for our customer's brands, products and services.

Brickworks is growing, and is currently looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Contract Video Producer / Editor. Working closely with Brickworks' account directors, strategists, writers and the design team, the Video Producer / Editor will be responsible for directing and editing the production of video shorts that are used at trade shows, as TV spots, and in numerous web applications. Additional work includes production and editing of training modules.

Brickworks has an in-house video studio, complete with lighting and green. Video shooting is also done at client facilities. Brickworks has its own high quality HD video cameras and lighting system, but also incorporates still photos and raw footage produced by other videographers and photographers.

The successful candidate will possess a diploma or degree in video or movie production, excellent creative and communications skills, and 3-5 years of related experience in video production design. In addition to being a self-starter, the successful candidate should enjoy working as part of an integrated team. Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premier, After Effects, Soundbooth, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) is strongly preferred. Familiarity with producing video for web, as well as the Microsoft Office suite of products is also preferred, but not essential.
